Education
Priority areas
Since January 2022, we have engaged with more than 11,000 children and young people across WA to ensure their voices inform the work of our office. We received submissions on our discussion papers from 42 individuals and organisations, including Aboriginal community-controlled organisations, local and state government, not-for-profit community organisations, academia and private service providers.
Additionally, we conducted targeted consultations with children and young people with relevant lived experience to refine and finalise our policy priorities. This extensive process led to an update of the Policy Position Statements, and the development of new Policy Position Priorities on our four priority areas.
